An Excel AC/DC model is also available. This is a dual voltage unit, 12V DC and 115 V AC, which has both 2" and 4" vent stacks and can operate either as a standard electric model or with a 12V, 1.4W DC fan. This is a good choice for people that will eventually get power to their property or people with un-reliable power sources. It has the same dimensions and specs as the standard Excel model except it requires a 1" drain, has both 2" and 4" vent stacks and its usage rating is the same as the Excel NE model when not plugged in.
